The Alabama Center for Paper and Bioresource Engineering at Auburn University is one of our Research & Development partners.
FirepHly Bio has licensed world-wide exclusive rights to technologies in adhesives and barrier coatings and films from Auburn University. FirepHly Bio is focused on utilizing biomass waste streams for manufacturing in these two key market areas underserved in the transition from fossil incumbents to high efficacy bioderived alternatives.
The FirepHly Innovation Center is co-located within a Sonoma County based craft brewery. We have formed strong partnerships with industry titans. FirepHly Bio is also developing its own IP for utilizing spent grains from spirits distillation and soyhulls from soybean crushing plants. FirepHly Bio has focused its innovation and product development efforts in the retail context, aiming to disrupt incumbent adhesives and aiming to displace PFAS coatings and PVOH films on the barrier technology side.
With decades of combined experience in biomass conversion, our team has the expertise and knowledge to develop solutions that are effective, safer for the consumer, and sustainable.
Here at FirepHly BioMaterials, we take pride in being innovators in deep decarbonization and transitioning the world to safer materials made from renewable biomass.
